The Prime Vault and Prime Resurgence: what they mean and how to get a part
When a prime is vaulted, its relics stop dropping and the parts stay with whoever collected them in time. That is why one set sells for 20p and another for 150p when both are equally good in game.
What «vaulted» means
The Prime Vault is the list of primes whose relics have been taken out of the drop tables. The game retires old relics so new ones do not get lost among hundreds of other rewards. The parts themselves stay with their owners and can still be sold.
The game has 773 relics right now. Only 35 drop from missions, the other 728 are vaulted. Which primes you can farm today and which are left only with players is on the what drops now page.
Prime Resurgence and Varzia
Vaulted primes come back through Prime Resurgence. Varzia runs it, in Maroo's Bazaar on Mars and on the Market console in your base.
She takes two currencies, and they are easy to mix up.

Varzia's stock changes every 28 days at 18:00 UTC. If the prime you want is not there now, wait for the rotation or buy the parts from players.
Aya is the free route but a slow one: the relics still need opening in fissures. Regal Aya is the fast route for money.
Where to get Aya
Aya drops in Void missions and occasionally in relic packs, but open-world bounties at their final stage are the steadiest source.

Necralisk beats the others. On the Steel Path the final-stage chances are the same.
How the vault moves prices
The market logic is simple, and everyone who trades seriously uses it.
- A prime gets vaulted. New parts stop appearing, player stock slowly runs down, and the price tends to rise over time.
- A prime returns to Varzia. Its relics are available again, more parts appear, and the price usually dips.
- A prime has just been released. New parts are expensive for the first weeks while they are scarce, then get cheaper as people farm them.
This is an observation, not a guarantee. Demand for a given prime depends on how good it is in game and on how popular it is.
What to do as a player
- You need a vaulted part. Compare the player price with the Aya the relic costs and how many times you would need to open it. Buying is often cheaper.
- You are selling a vaulted part. Don't dump it right after vaulting: the price needs time to climb.
- You hold a part that will return to Varzia. If you know the prime is coming back into rotation, sell before it does.
